Systems Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact and authority for systems engineering within the BU
• Lead specification, architecture, integration, verification, and validation activities
• Ensure technical consistency across mechanical, electrical, automation, and embedded disciplines
• Monitor technical progress of suppliers and subcontractors
• Drive engineering process automation and internal tooling initiatives
• Disseminate best practices and engineering standards within the BU
• Lead technical reviews and structure feedback/lessons learned (REX) processes
• Support pre-sales activities including cost estimation, work package breakdown, and technical presentations

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Generalist, Systems, or equivalent)
• 3 to 7 years of experience in systems engineering within demanding sectors
• Technical versatility across mechanics, electricity, automation, and embedded software
• Professional English proficiency
• Ability to obtain defense security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of normative standards (IEC 61373, EN 50155, DO-178/254, ARP4754)
• Experience with automation environments (TIA Portal, WinCC)
• Experience with embedded environments (STM32, RTOS, ROS2)
• DevOps culture and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
• Interest in sensors and instrumentation
