Systems Specialist II (HVAC Controls)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building-automation-system field cabinets, communication devices, and sensors
• Perform point-to-point checkout of end devices using multimeters and calibrated meters
• Download modules and assist in bringing networks online
• Maintain field markups and perform warranty-related service calls
• Assist senior technicians with system startups and equipment maintenance
• Provide project demonstrations and training for customers
• Create thorough daily reports and communicate technical issues to senior staff
• Identify issues and make minor program and graphic changes within the building automation suite

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in BAS technician field roles
• Experience in high-availability environments like data centers, hospitals, or government facilities
• Familiarity with Delta and Siemens product lines and software suites
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like climbing ladders and stairs
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational school or associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or computer technology
