Systems Safety & Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Generate and review Safety Assessment and Analyses (FHA, pSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments) for systems such as Bleed, Exterior Lights, APU, and Fuel Tank Inerting.
• Perform Common Cause Analyses, including Particular Risk Analyses and Common Mode Analyses.
• Support System Design Teams and suppliers to ensure full compliance with safety objectives.
• Generate and manage safety-derived requirements throughout the entire development life cycle.
• Review instructions for Continued Airworthiness to ensure the safety compliance of the in-service fleet.

Requirements

• Expertise in Safety Assessment and Analyses (FHA, pSSA, SSA).
• Proficiency with Fault Trees and both Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments.
• Experience conducting Common Cause Analyses, Particular Risk Analyses, and Common Mode Analyses.
• Proven ability in safety-derived requirements management.
• Professional experience within the aviation safety domain.
