Systems Research Analysis - Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Data

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI and machine learning systems to enhance analytical capabilities and drive data-based decision-making.
• Create intelligent algorithms, models, and tools for tasks including natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
• Conduct research, development, and deployment of scientific software, data mining, and machine learning solutions to solve engineering and operational challenges.
• Collaborate across multiple functional areas to integrate AI models into larger systems and applications.
• Build, modify, and maintain databases and management systems to provide actionable insights into organizational performance.
• Communicate complex AI/ML analyses to leadership and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and data visualizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and scientific/engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
• Experience with statistical analysis languages or object-oriented development software such as Python, R, or Matlab.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, Hive, MongoDB, or Hadoop.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a highly related field involving independent research (thesis or dissertation).
• Experience working within the NNSA complex or with federal sponsors in the defense and intelligence sectors.
• Proficiency with additional tools such as JMP, MLflow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience in natural language processing frameworks and libraries.
• Strong project management skills, particularly regarding federally-funded work.
