About the role
Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, test, and maintain applications across enterprise systems including ERP, SIS, CRM, and HRIS.
- Design and build custom workflows, integrations, reports, and system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL processes to ensure consistent data flow.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and release management in coordination with ITS teams.
- Support user-facing portals and provide Tier 2/3 technical support for enterprise applications.
- Manage role-based access and ensure data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA).
- Partner with campus stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise systems administration, configuration, development, or support.
- Demonstrated experience with major enterprise student information (SIS) or ERP platforms (e.g., Ellucian Banner, Oracle Student, Workday Student).
- Experience developing system integrations using APIs, ETL tools, or middleware.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or similar programming/scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and query optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms.
- Experience in a higher education setting managing student, HR, or financial systems.
- Familiarity with identity management and single sign-on (e.g., LDAP, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID).
- Knowledge of cloud-hosted SaaS enterprise platform models.
- Experience with agile or iterative delivery methods.
