About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with R&D teams to optimize new product designs for manufacturability and assembly
- Drive design for manufacturability (DfM) into product requirements and design
- Develop and launch new Ultrasound System production lines
- Provide technical support and root cause analysis to resolve production floor issues, including yield challenges and nonconforming products
- Identify, analyze, and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
- Lead the creation and maintenance of production documentation, including process requirements, DfX, PFMEA, process validation, and manufacturing control plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience applying engineering principles in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Design for Excellence (DfX) implementation
- Strong knowledge of Statistical Methods, including Process Capability, SPC, and Trend Analysis
- Proficiency in PFMEA and manufacturing control plans
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills
