Systems Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions to fabricate, install, or modify systems and payload systems
• Develop drawings and work instructions for tooling to support production
• Act as an engineering liaison to troubleshoot documentation and provide real-time shop floor support
• Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, and ground test integration
• Develop test plans and procedures for systems functionality and ATP
• Support hypersonic vehicle integrated testing and system design efforts
• Reference 3D CAD models and integrate them into 2D environments
• Analyze engineering requirements to estimate fabrication time, cost, and producibility

Requirements

• Experience with aerospace production documentation, including drawings and work orders
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrotechnical disciplines
• Experience integrating launch vehicle or aircraft electrical power systems
• Experience with PDM systems and engineering revision control processes
• Direct hands-on experience with aircraft mechanical system and payload installation
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active security clearance
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling (NX, CATIA, or Solidworks)
• Proficiency with Siemens Capital or Mentor Graphics
• Experience with LabVIEW
• Familiarity with Jira for configuration management
