About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform system requirements development, decomposition, and allocation
- Execute system verification and validation of requirements to ensure success criteria are met
- Support FAA and Military Certification processes
- Conduct system analysis and project engineering, including risk, issue, and opportunity management
- Develop and deliver SEIT products such as architecture models, requirements databases, and specifications
- Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, and technical design reviews
- Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like CAMEO, Rhapsody, and DOORS
- Collaborate with customer organizations and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (e.g., CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody)
- Experience with Requirements Management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
- Experience in the verification and validation of requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, and specification development
- Experience in systems integration and testing, including lab, ground, and flight tests
- Knowledge of Airworthiness and Certification (FAA, EASA, or Military)
- Experience with aircraft systems such as MIL Radio, Mission Systems, or Avionics (ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553)
- INCOSE Certification
