About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform system requirements development, decomposition, and allocation
  • Execute system verification and validation of requirements to ensure success criteria are met
  • Support FAA and Military Certification processes
  • Conduct system analysis and project engineering, including risk, issue, and opportunity management
  • Develop and deliver SEIT products such as architecture models, requirements databases, and specifications
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, and technical design reviews
  • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like CAMEO, Rhapsody, and DOORS
  • Collaborate with customer organizations and mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (e.g., CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Requirements Management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
  • Experience in the verification and validation of requirements
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, and specification development
  • Experience in systems integration and testing, including lab, ground, and flight tests
  • Knowledge of Airworthiness and Certification (FAA, EASA, or Military)
  • Experience with aircraft systems such as MIL Radio, Mission Systems, or Avionics (ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553)
  • INCOSE Certification
