Systems Integration (ES4)

Responsibilities

• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) level Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for the Human Lander System (HLS) Program Office at Marshall Space Flight Center.
• Perform technical reviews of HLS Control Board (HCB) and Systems Engineering Review Forum (SERF) chart packages to ensure technical adequacy and completeness.
• Coordinate with HLS Lead System Engineers, Chief Engineers, and Configuration and Data Management teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Support interface and integration requirements definition, verification, validation, and change management efforts.
• Contribute to digital transformation efforts through the development of Digital Engineering Tools and the application of AI.
• Identify, describe, and communicate potential technical risks to stakeholders.
• Deliver project briefings and technical products to all levels of management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS degree from an ABET accredited university (MS degree preferred).
• 10+ years of systems engineering or technical management experience.
• Proven experience supporting NASA launch vehicle or spacecraft projects.
• Deep knowledge of space vehicle design, functions, interfaces, and technical disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with flight hardware or hardware delivery.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess a STAR ID.
• Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific experience in technical or programmatic management support of NASA programs.
• Experience with planning and executing space/DoW hardware design, development, test, and evaluation (DDT&E) efforts.
• Familiarity with NASA Systems Engineering policies, including NPR 7120.5 and NPR 7123.1.
• Experience in project planning and technical integration.
