Systems Integration Engineering Technician III

Responsibilities

• Install and update prototype vehicles with emerging technologies, including new components and wiring-harness overlays.
• Support software updates and testing by working with engineers on wire changes and diagnosing potential issues.
• Design and troubleshoot advanced systems to integrate them into existing design concepts.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering Technicians on test vehicle preparation.
• Support over-the-road testing activities, including performing field repairs and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a focus in electrical or software engineering.
• 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Specialized expertise in technical processes or procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Class A driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
• Background in software installation and functionality.
• Experience in wire harness assemblies, including pin-to-pin checks and repairs.
