Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions
• Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operational status of systems and network components
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses and develop technical solutions
• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact
• Evaluate new technologies or equipment for Agency standard solutions

Requirements

• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, or IT support
• Experience supporting hardware installation (servers or network infrastructure)
• Experience setting up storage such as network attached storage
• Experience implementing security best practices including PKI certificate generation and maintenance
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C
• TS/SCI with Polygraph required
• IAT-I certification (e.g., Security+CE)
• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, or related field plus 5 years of experience (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT, and Ansible
• Experience with system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS
