Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead new product introduction and associated processes for the successful launch of new hardware platforms into global data centers
• Lead architecture reviews with hardware engineering teams to develop diagnostic coverage plans for both hardware and software
• Drive system design for serviceability requirements to ensure form, fit, and function for new hardware development
• Lead the development and execution of Data Center readiness tooling validation testing
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Production, Hardware Validation, and Data Center Operations, to build thorough test strategies
• Triage, test, develop, and debug hardware platforms
• Work with ODM/OEM vendors to define product specifications, development plans, and test plans
• Capture lessons learned from production issues to create test cases for future hardware platforms

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a relevant field, or commensurate technical experience
• Experience with ASIC, compute, storage, and network architecture and components
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Experience coding in higher-level languages such as Python, PHP, C++, or Java
• Experience with operational validation methods and verification activities for new product integration
• Proven track record of developing processes for new technologies and taking them to production
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML hardware development and deployment at scale
• Experience with hardware development and lifecycle management
• Proficiency with git or similar SCM tools
• Experience with test-driven software development
• Knowledge of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods (e.g., IPMI, serial console)
• Experience with Linux operating systems and utilities
• Master's or PhD in Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering
