Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful integration of new hardware platforms and infrastructure technologies into global data centers
• Drive Design for Serviceability (DFS) requirements during the architecture planning phase to ensure hardware meets operational needs
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data center readiness, tooling, and automation for large-scale deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Hardware Validation, and Data Center Operations, to align on hardware roadmaps
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis to triage systematic failures in the field
• Work closely with ODM/OEM vendors to define product specifications and development milestones
• Capture lessons learned from production issues to improve future hardware platform designs

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a relevant field, or commensurate technical experience
• 5+ years of experience in system administration, engineering, or hardware validation testing
• Experience with ASIC, compute, storage, or network architecture and components
• Proficiency in coding with higher-level languages such as Python, PHP, C++, or Java
• Proven experience with hardware troubleshooting, diagnosis, and operational validation methods
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and geographically distributed remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML hardware development and deployment at scale
• Knowledge of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods (e.g., IPMI, serial console)
• Experience with Linux operating systems and utilities
• Proficiency with git or similar SCM tools
• Experience with test-driven software development and large-scale server installations
• Master's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering
