Systems Integration Engineer - Audio

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a Python automation framework to validate audio features and stability
• Build and manage hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) test benches
• Conduct hands-on subjective and objective audio tuning and validation in prototype vehicles
• Debug complex issues related to audio drivers, DSP algorithms, and network streaming
• Integrate and validate microphone array performance, AEC, and Noise Reduction algorithms
• Collaborate with acoustic engineers to establish performance targets like THD+N and SNR
• Create documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and tuning results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in software integration, audio engineering, or system validation
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis
• Experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX, Android, or Linux
• Deep understanding of digital audio principles and DSP concepts
• Hands-on experience with objective audio measurement tools like Audio Precision
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience tuning Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE)
• Familiarity with Bluetooth (A2DP, HFP), Wi-Fi, and media streaming protocols
• Knowledge of automotive networks like CAN, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
