Systems Engineering Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection of engineering requirements and the development of prospective suppliers
• Support engineering with estimates, including pricing and delivery information for proposals
• Verify that products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance
• Interface between Engineering and Supplier Management organizations
• Coordinate with Procurement Agents, Engineers, and Suppliers to secure critical information
• Create and track the status of procurement requests
• Manage backorder status to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of technical education and related work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience
• Experience with programming languages, tools, and applications
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams
