About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end Windows software readiness for new desktop workstation platforms from early bring-up through RTM and factory release
- Manage Windows image, driver, application, recovery, and firmware enablement across engineering teams and ODM partners
- Lead technical alignment and decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders including BIOS/FW, Validation, and Supply Chain teams
- Own Windows-related issue resolution, triage, and prioritization, including hosting tiger teams for critical blocking issues
- Coordinate with ODM SEPMs to ensure Windows deliverables meet quality and schedule targets
- Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to R&D leadership and functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or software program leadership
- Strong understanding of Windows OS integration, drivers, BIOS/FW interaction, and system validation
- Experience working with ODMs and factory partners in NPI environments
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs to on-time delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with desktop or workstation platforms
- Familiarity with Windows image build processes, including Windows ADK and driver qualification
- Ability to read, understand, and write simple Windows scripts
- Experience managing RTM, driver posting, and sustaining release flows
- Strong risk management and executive presentation skills
