Systems Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Systems Engineering scope of work for the Executive Transport and Surveillance portfolio, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical execution.
• Manage, develop, and motivate a team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, and providing developmental opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and program leadership.
• Oversee technical execution including requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification, and integration.
• Forecast resource needs and manage personnel, facilities, and equipment to meet project objectives.
• Drive resolution of critical program issues and ensure cross-functional team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• 8 years of experience in systems engineering disciplines and large or small-scale systems engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering and integration teams.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, formal manager, or large-scale project management).
• Hands-on experience with major program milestone reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
