Systems Engineering Lead, Robot Platform

About the Company

Mytra is creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for the $1T supply chain market.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end system architecture of Mytra’s robotic platform across mechanical, electrical, embedded, controls, and software domains
• Define and evolve the technical roadmap to ensure the platform scales in capability, reliability, and manufacturability
• Establish clear system boundaries, interfaces, and responsibility splits between engineering teams
• Mediate high-stakes technical decisions to keep the engineering teams aligned and moving at startup speed
• Distill complex field data, edge-case failures, and prototype learnings into a clear system-level technical narrative

Requirements

• BS, MS, or equivalent in engineering
• 7+ years of experience in designing and building complex mechatronics systems
• Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, debug, verification, qualification, and manufacturing transfer)
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management and documentation control systems
• Strong engineering intuition and first-principles problem-solving skills
