Systems Engineer, Vehicle OS

Responsibilities

• Create and manage system and software requirements, defining system bounds, capabilities, and functional features
• Convert customer needs into system requirements and devise operational objectives
• Use Cameo to build, maintain, and analyze functional and logical architecture
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of system artifacts across user journeys, features, and test cases
• Monitor and manage validation and verification of requirements at both system and software levels
• Work closely with developers to provide technical guidance and ensure design alignment
• Define processes for ASPICE level 2 compliance and configure requirements management tools like Polarion
• Define variants management for Vehicle OS products

Requirements

• 2+ years of systems engineering experience involving functional decomposition, allocation, and analysis
• 2+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and techniques
• Extensive expertise with SysML and Cameo within the automotive, defense, or aerospace industries
• Experience testing real-world systems using sensors and production-level hardware and compute
• Experience with requirements validation and verification for subsystems and integrated components

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role
• Experience spanning both initial requirements and final system validation
• Multidisciplinary background in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
• Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
