Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet project and program commitments.
• Implement, maintain, and refine systems engineering approaches using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering strategies.
• Execute core systems engineering efforts including requirements decomposition, system architecture, trade studies, and interface management.
• Support program leadership in managing risk, certification planning, and verification and test planning.
• Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to design and verify complex weapons system solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated systems engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of related work experience (for Lead level).
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with Mission System and Weapon System development.
• Experience with verification and/or certification efforts for military safety-critical or mission-critical hardware and software.
• Proficiency with MBSE tools such as MSOSA or other SysML-compatible tools for systems architecture.
