Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Digital Engineering (DE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool capabilities
• Oversee the deployment and optimization of DE/PLM tools to support system performance analysis and design validation
• Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to enhance team proficiency in new technologies
• Analyze engineering data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle
• Prepare and present briefings for stakeholders regarding program status, metrics, and key performance indicators
• Apply systems thinking to monitor program performance against technical, budgetary, and schedule baselines

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years of overall engineering experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues into simple concepts
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related technical field
• Experience with Dassault 3DExperience and integrated applications such as NX or Teamcenter Visualization
• Working knowledge of PLM, Change Management, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Bill of Process
• Experience with military or commercial aircraft design and analysis
• Proven experience deriving and allocating requirements with full traceability throughout the product lifecycle
• Experience communicating with senior leadership and program customers
