About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Digital Engineering (DE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool capabilities
- Oversee the deployment and optimization of DE/PLM tools to support system performance analysis and design validation
- Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to enhance team proficiency in new technologies
- Analyze engineering data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Prepare and present briefings for stakeholders regarding program status, metrics, and key performance indicators
- Apply systems thinking to monitor program performance against technical, budgetary, and schedule baselines
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of overall engineering experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues into simple concepts
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related technical field
- Experience with Dassault 3DExperience and integrated applications such as NX or Teamcenter Visualization
- Working knowledge of PLM, Change Management, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Bill of Process
- Experience with military or commercial aircraft design and analysis
- Proven experience deriving and allocating requirements with full traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Experience communicating with senior leadership and program customers
