Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Vertical Lift program by developing and decomposing customer requirements into contractual design and performance requirements
• Develop corresponding requirements verification plans and lead technical integration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Support verification execution, including artifact discovery and verification of evidence against design requirements
• Interface with design teams to ensure compliance with baseline system architecture
• Support the integration of multiple engineering disciplines within various design IPTs

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 1+ years of experience working in a team-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred Qualifications

• Systems Engineering experience or education
• Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS, Slate, or Enovia
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques like Cameo, MSOSA, or Rhapsody
• Experience working with US Department of Defense (DoD) or international defense customers
