About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering activities for aircraft modernization and modification programs
  • Apply systems thinking to understand the inter-relationships of all Systems Integration activities
  • Integrate and manage deliverables including functional analysis, requirements, and safety analysis
  • Develop and monitor requirements management processes, risk management, and systems maturity planning
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues across Systems IPT and other engineering domains
  • Support FAA and Military Certification processes
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure quality of internal and external deliverables
  • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO, Rhapsody, or DOORS

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a math- or science-based discipline (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science)
  • Minimum of 9 years of related work experience
  • US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ICD development, functional/logical architecture, and requirements specification
  • Proficiency with System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Requirements Management tools such as IBM DOORS
  • Experience in verification and validation of requirements
  • Experience executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Experience in systems integration and test, including lab, ground, and flight testing
  • Knowledge of Airworthiness and Certification (FAA, EASA, or Military)
  • INCOSE Certification
