About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead system requirements development, decomposition, and allocation
- Perform system logical and functional decomposition and analysis
- Drive system architecture, design, and synthesis
- Manage system verification and validation of requirements
- Support FAA and Military Certification processes
- Conduct system analysis and project engineering, including risk and opportunity management
- Lead cross-functional teams and participate in technical design reviews
- Develop SEIT products such as architecture models, requirements databases, and specifications
- Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools including CAMEO, Rhapsody, and DOORS
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Experience in System Architecture Development and modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody)
- Experience in Requirements Management using tools such as IBM DOORS
- Experience in the verification and validation of requirements
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, and specification development
- Experience in systems integration and test, including lab, ground, and flight testing
- Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (FAA, EASA, or Military)
- INCOSE Certification
- Knowledge of aircraft systems such as MIL Radio, Mission Systems, or Avionics (ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553)
