About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Linux servers, storage, and client infrastructure
- Collaborate with development and trading operations teams to ensure system and application stability
- Monitor system performance using tools like Icinga, Nagios, or Zabbix
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software technical issues
- Implement and maintain security measures for data and systems protection
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
- Participate in an on-call support rotation for critical incidents
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems infrastructure operations
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL or Debian based distributions)
- Proficiency in Python or shell scripting (Bash, Zsh)
- Extensive automation experience with Ansible or Salt
- Experience with virtualization platforms, preferably VMWare
- Experience with identity management, SSO, LDAP, and Kerberos
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience with Postgres or MongoDB
