Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with developers to implement new capabilities for classification marking tools and M365 web-based applications
• Document the full life cycle design, development, and testing of policy-driven software
• Create standard system engineering and test documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues by establishing alternative solutions or generating bug reports
• Analyze user requirements and high-level system architectures to develop specifications
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or 8 years of total experience)
• 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience in similar programs
• Experience generating standard system engineering and test documents
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Wiki and AWS dashboards/services
• Excellent technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to triage user issues and track responses
• Experience testing new configurations and software releases
• Ability to coordinate software deliveries with external organizations
• Experience establishing internal schedules and milestones
