Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with systems engineering, test teams, and program leadership to define and implement vehicle integration and test activities
• Develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop and on-vehicle test procedures
• Maintain an up-to-date test objective database
• Participate in test planning, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), test execution, and vehicle troubleshooting
• Architect and optimize data review methodology and analysis tools
• Set standards for test planning and documentation

Requirements

• Experience in small, dynamic engineering teams
• Previous test experience (vehicle integration, ground, or flight testing)
• Familiarity with aerospace systems (avionics, instrumentation, software, fluid systems, liquid rockets, or structures)
• Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Familiarity with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Familiarity with configuration management (Jira) and requirement management (Jama, Cameo, DOORS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Test Conductor
• Experience with major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience with air-launched supersonic/hypersonic vehicle development
• Experience with technical risk identification and mitigation
• Experience with hypersonic vehicles with hot-structure airframes
• Current DOD Secret security clearance
• Programming experience in Matlab or Python
