Systems Engineer (SETA)

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite advisory and analytical engineering support to senior government leadership on high-visibility national security missions
• Contribute to trade studies and develop comprehensive test and evaluation plans
• Analyze system designs, risks, dependencies, and program impacts to support informed decision-making
• Develop and deliver technical briefings, point papers, and acquisition documentation for senior leadership
• Propose program strategies, resolutions, and risk mitigation approaches across diverse stakeholder communities
• Communicate complex technical analysis clearly and concisely to government stakeholders

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering-related field from an accredited institution
• Proven experience in systems engineering, reliability engineering, or protection systems
• Working knowledge of space and ground architectures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with laser systems and laser safety
• Background in reliability and mission assurance
• Experience supporting protected systems or mission-critical government programs
• Experience operating within a senior-level stakeholder or acquisition environment
