Responsibilities

• Provide systems/specialty engineering and technical analyses for assigned acquisition activities
• Ensure consistent interpretation and application of policy and guidance to meet system/subsystem requirements
• Comply with OSS&E and life cycle systems engineering requirements
• Coordinate technically with government laboratories, program offices, and suppliers regarding subsystem design, development, integration, and test

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
• 10 years of experience in defense electronic systems engineering
• Experience with systems engineering and weapon system integration tasks related to acquisition programs
• In-depth knowledge of USAF acquisition of aircraft weapon systems
• U.S. citizenship and active SECRET security clearance (TOP SECRET desired)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Knowledge of DOD 5000 series, AFI 63 series, and JCIDS requirements processes
• Experience with radar warning receiver subsystems, countermeasures, and aircraft weapon system integration
