Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the humidification technology roadmap to identify and mature future product technologies
• Translate user, clinical, business, and regulatory needs into system requirements and technical solutions
• Define system architectures for humidification technologies, including sensing, control, monitoring, and safety strategies
• Support the development of advanced thermal management technologies and closed-loop control approaches
• Lead system-level risk management activities, hazard analysis, and the definition of safety controls
• Plan and execute laboratory investigations to evaluate performance and reduce technical uncertainty
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, electronics, mechanical, and clinical experts
• Drive requirements management, traceability, verification planning, and regulatory readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Biomedical, or a related Engineering discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in systems, product development, or engineering roles
• Knowledge of thermal systems, fluid flow, sensing technologies, or control systems
• Familiarity with systems engineering practices such as requirements management, risk management, and verification
• Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering development tools such as JIRA, Jama, or Confluence
• Exposure to medical device development processes and regulatory frameworks
• Experience working within regulated industries
