About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of integration, verification, and test activities for naval radar and ocean systems.
- Conduct requirement analysis to ensure system designs meet program objectives and customer needs.
- Support software and hardware integration efforts, collaborating with software teams to ensure seamless functionality.
- Develop and execute test runs to assess system performance under varied conditions.
- Detect and diagnose system failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
- Work across disciplines to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and international) to support customer events and field-based activities.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements, and/or testing.
- Proficiency with C++, Python, MATLAB, and/or other programming languages.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using digital engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or Cameo.
- Experience working in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments.
- Experience using Monte Carlo simulations to model system performance and inform test strategies.
- Experience presenting technical findings and recommendations to leadership and customers.
