Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of integration, verification, and test activities for naval radar and ocean systems.
• Conduct requirement analysis to ensure system designs meet program objectives and customer needs.
• Support software and hardware integration efforts, collaborating with software teams to ensure seamless functionality.
• Develop and execute test runs to assess system performance under varied conditions.
• Detect and diagnose system failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Work across disciplines to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Travel up to 25% (domestic and international) to support customer events and field-based activities.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements, and/or testing.
• Proficiency with C++, Python, MATLAB, and/or other programming languages.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using digital engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or Cameo.
• Experience working in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments.
• Experience using Monte Carlo simulations to model system performance and inform test strategies.
• Experience presenting technical findings and recommendations to leadership and customers.
