Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat, etc.)
• Administer virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
• Manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments, including mail routing and database recovery
• Deploy and manage Docker containers and orchestrate applications using Kubernetes
• Implement regular patch management processes for both Windows and Linux systems
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline routine tasks
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
• Maintain detailed system documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Windows and Linux systems administration
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Expertise in Linux containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises or hybrid)
• Practical experience with Azure Intune management
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA, CKA, or VCP
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
• Experience managing cloud-native applications and systems at scale
