Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Server to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Administer and optimize VMware vSphere environments (vCenter, ESXi) for resource optimization and disaster recovery.
• Implement and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops to provide seamless remote access for end-users.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, and performance tuning across all infrastructure components.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine administration and system tasks.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery operations using technologies such as Veeam or CommVault.
• Provide second and third-level technical support and document system configurations and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration with hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, and Citrix.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and Citrix NetScaler or Citrix Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure and integration.
• Knowledge of SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices for incident and change management.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VCP, or Citrix Certified Professional.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Azure AD integration.
