Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical leadership in the design, integration, and testing of complex aircraft mission systems with both hardware and software
• Elicit, synthesize, and decompose high-level operational requirements into derived subsystem-level requirements
• Manage traceability throughout the systems lifecycle
• Perform trade studies to evaluate COTS and GOTS components against mission capabilities, cost, and schedule constraints
• Evaluate design alternatives for impact on cost and schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience designing complex mission systems, including integrated hardware and software
• Demonstrated ability to elicit, synthesize, and decompose requirements
• Experience using simulation capabilities to analyze alternate designs

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline
• Experience developing radiation-hardened components systems
