Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) with software solutions
• Perform system integration across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
• Build, integrate, and test multirotor or FPV drone systems
• Work with cross-functional teams including EE, ME, and software engineers
• Develop and execute system-level test plans for bench and flight testing
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and system interactions
• Analyze logs and telemetry for system performance and debugging
• Support development from prototype through validation and iteration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field) or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, UAVs, robotics, or embedded systems
• Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and MAVLink
• Familiarity with flight control stacks like PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight, or INAV
• Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration
• Proficiency with Git for version control

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with drone, robotics, or aerospace systems
• Familiarity with mechanical integration constraints (mounting, vibration, thermal)
• Experience with RF systems including video transmission and antennas
• Experience integrating companion computers like NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi
• Basic scripting or programming skills in Python or C/C++
