Systems Engineer, Jr.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support for the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate by designing, developing, and testing products for advanced space systems
• Support incidents and investigations by addressing end-user needs and identifying system issues related to ground processing and command and control
• Collaborate with analysts and project leads to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability
• Assist in developing system requirements and specifications aligned with high-level mission objectives
• Participate in trade studies and engineering tradeoff analyses to identify improvements in system performance and architecture
• Contribute to technical documentation for command-and-control operations
• Manage risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the systems engineering life cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Up to 5 years of professional experience
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, and systems
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the NRO Systems Engineering process (ICDs, SRDs, PDRs)
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) overhead collection systems and processing
