Systems Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Assist technical product owners in refining product definitions, requirements, and technical inputs for device products and digital services.
• Participate in system-level design documentation, requirements specification, and subsystem architecture.
• Conduct requirements analysis, management, safety risk analysis, and cybersecurity risk analysis.
• Support product testing, including Verification and Validation (V&V), and manage design control and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and maintain integrated system models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology and tools.
• Characterize subsystem-level entities and document test results across domains such as algorithm development, human factors, and machine learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve product or process issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage individual project deliverables and work items to ensure alignment with project timelines and dependencies.

Requirements

• BS in engineering, physical science, or a related field (MS degree preferred).
• 2 years of relevant engineering or physical science experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, MDR, and FDA design control standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile software development processes.
• Proficiency with JIRA and DOORS (9.6 and/or DNG).
• Experience with SysML, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology, and system modeling tools.
