Systems Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and system interfaces.
• Lead testing efforts by developing and implementing test plans, procedures, and verification documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Support mission execution through travel to test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations (up to 20%).

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting.
• Proficiency with common commercial test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or Cameo.
• Experience with model-based engineering.
• Background in systems software, hardware, requirements, integration, or testing.
• Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.
