About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering full lifecycle, including requirements decomposition, system performance analysis, and trade studies.
- Oversee software development and system integration and test activities to ensure requirements closure.
- Interact with agile development teams regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure.
- Define and document requirements for software releases and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure software and system needs are supported.
- Contribute to the testing, training, and implementation of new platform technologies and code quality methodologies.
- Assist agile teams with best practices for software development in a CI/CD environment.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, or validation).
- Experience with agile software development activities, including requirements specification and integration testing.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT Intelligence Community (IC) backgrounds.
- Experience with cloud-based software architecture and systems.
- Experience developing MBSE design and DoDAF operational views.
- Experience using Agile tool sets such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- Experience maintaining technical cost and schedule for integration activities.
