About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, track, coordinate, and report on all sustaining engineering activities for assigned X-Band Radars
- Provide technical support for deployed radars, including performance analysis and reporting
- Develop troubleshooting and corrective action plans for mechanical, electrical, microwave, software, and cyber security issues
- Contribute to the integrated master schedule by coordinating maintenance events with site teams, logistics, and maintenance planning
- Create and update internal and external Health and Status reports for radar systems
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to track and resolve open engineering issues
- Support up to 10% domestic and international travel as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Linux, and/or Unix
- Active and existing U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day one
- U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with radar systems and/or system integration
- Experience in radar systems test environments and the development of test scripts
- Experience creating procedures, plans, and maintaining configuration control documentation
- Background in systems integration, test, data analysis, and/or verification
- Experience with root cause identification and corrective action implementation
