Systems Engineer II - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Execute model-based systems engineering (MBSE) development activities for strategic defense programs
• Participate in the full systems development lifecycle, including trade studies, system design, requirements definition, and traceability
• Develop systems artifacts such as ICD creation, systems integration, verification testing, and qualification
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies, including sprint reviews, user story refinement, and product demos
• Provide technical support to stakeholders by troubleshooting issues and offering solutions to ensure project execution

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience designing and developing distributed computing environments using industry-standard protocols and LANs
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar using SysML
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or active U.S. security clearance
• Experience with MIL-STD hardened environments and military specification compliance
• Demonstrated understanding of requirements specifications, interface control documents, and verification matrices
• Experience collaborating with software and hardware teams to ensure successful system integration
