About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze input requirements for medical devices and translate them into specific system requirement and interface specifications
- Investigate, define, and test new algorithms and features to facilitate their transition into new projects
- Simulate and test aspects of new projects or algorithms to evaluate prototypes and verify output against customer requirements
- Conduct storyboarding and beta testing to measure customer acceptance of product performance
- Contribute to the evaluation and verification of subsystems and provide input for system verification plans
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct feasibility studies, technology assessments, and benchmarking
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in medical product development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels
- Ability to travel internationally
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention to detail skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the medical device industry
- Experience working in a large, matrixed, or cross-division business unit model
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
