Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of requirements management tools and processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Create clear requirement documents including functional specifications and system requirements
• Manage changes to requirements and assess impact on project scope, schedule, and budget
• Develop substantiation and safety documents such as Functional Hazard Assessments and System Safety Analysis
• Create verification test plans and participate in validation activities
• Identify and assess risks related to requirements and propose mitigation strategies
• Report metrics related to requirements management to project leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Working knowledge of aircraft engineering processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel as required
• US Person status (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or political asylee) for ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience
• Familiarity with industry standards (14 CFR Part 25, DO-160, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754)
• Experience with requirements management tools like PTC Codebeamer
