Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineering and implementing real-time automation controls and information solutions
• Conceptualizing during the design phase of the project life cycle
• System programming, debugging, and testing
• Creating documentation including project engineering notes, proposals, and design traceability
• Commissioning new solutions at client sites and identifying improvement opportunities
• Mentoring colleagues on technical expertise

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience with PLC, HMI, or SCADA platforms
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% within the USA
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage or life sciences industries
• Proficiency with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases
• Experience with industrial networking protocols like EthernetIP, Profibus, or Modbus
• Knowledge of vision platforms such as Cognex or Keyence
