Systems Engineer, DevOps

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Linux-based systems capable of scaling from 0 to 100,000+ users within hours
• Manage daily operations of thousands of servers and execute large-scale consolidation projects
• Work directly with customers on customized solutions
• Script and automate tasks to eliminate repetitive manual work and build internal tooling
• Manage a full stack including AlmaLinux/EL, nginx, Varnish, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, PHP, email systems, DNS, and load balancing

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Linux administration (primarily EL/AlmaLinux)
• Experience with nginx, Varnish, PostgreSQL, MySQL, PHP, and Redis
• Ability to code in PHP
• Experience with scripting, automation, and ideally Puppet
• Proficiency in Danish and English
• Adherence to the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Puppet
• Knowledge of PowerDNS, HAProxy, Nagios, Git, or IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM)
