Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and manage DATAMARK IT Infrastructure including network and systems infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership for the design, installation, and support of the Virtual Environment
• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, routers, switches, firewalls, and SAN/NAS
• Maintain system performance through monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning
• Manage backup and recovery of servers and configurations
• Ensure integrity of file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations
• Respond to after-hour alerts and phone calls as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, or a related computer science field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 10 years of experience in the IT systems field
• At least 7 years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with VMware and vSphere Infrastructure
• Experience with network and systems monitoring solutions
• Experience with telecommunications, SIP traffic, and VoIP
• Experience with SolarWinds Log & Event Manager and Orion
• Experience with VMware and Veeam Datacenter

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified IT Professional on Windows 7
• A+ Certification
• Experience with VxRail Equipment
• Multi-channel contact center experience
• PCI, SOC, and HIPAA Compliance experience
• Experience working in an ITIL environment
• Experience using ITSM workflow systems like ServiceNow or Remedy
