Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and manage DATAMARK IT Infrastructure including network and systems
• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computing environments and services
• Monitor systems and networks to prevent productivity setbacks
• Implement best practices for cloud, security, and backups
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Manage Windows Servers, virtualization, Cloud, Active Directory, routers, switches, firewalls, and SAN/NAS
• Ensure integrity of file servers, VPN gateways, EDR, and intrusion detection systems
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the IT systems field
• At least 3 years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer position
• Experience in networking and application-level operations
• Knowledge of operating systems and server solutions (Exchange, Office365, SQL, Virtual Desktop, IIS, AD)
• Experience with telecommunications, SIP traffic, and VoIP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Azure Certification
• VMWare or Cisco Certification
• Multi-channel contact center experience
• PCI, SOC, and HIPAA Compliance experience
• ITIL Foundations certification
• Experience with IT Service Management systems like ServiceNow or Remedy
