Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and derive systems engineering requirements, including interface definitions and verification/validation
• Support operations concept definition and procedure planning in collaboration with various organizations
• Address customer issues by developing system and product-level requirements
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation
• Perform testing and manage systems sustainment activities for legacy radar systems, including troubleshooting and documentation
• Occasional travel to other locations as required

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience generating and delivering technical documentation and system engineering artifacts
• Proficiency with requirements management software (e.g., DOORS, Cameo)
• Experience developing qualification test procedures and test reports
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with IBM DOORS
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) government contracts
• Experience working in small teams to achieve program cost and schedule objectives
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile development processes
• Experience within the radar domain
