Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain system requirements and design documentation
• Support verification and traceability of system requirements
• Develop and execute verification test procedures in a secure lab environment
• Conduct peer reviews on test procedures and design documentation
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve program goals
• Coordinate communication and status updates to relevant stakeholders
• Drive technical issue resolution through problem-solving and cross-team coordination
• Contribute to bid and proposal activities for new business pursuits

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Python scripting experience
• Experience with automated test and test fixture development
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Gherkin, Behave, or Robot
• Knowledge of networking, protocols, and security (IP stack, NTP/PTP, SSL/TLS)
• Experience developing system concept of operations (CONOPS) and use cases
• Experience with system integration and testing
• Prior military experience
