Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design across the total system product lifecycle, including concept, fabrication, modeling, and testing.
• Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
• Decompose customer specifications into sub-system and piece part requirements while developing verification criteria.
• Execute technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, and risk analyses for total system solutions.
• Perform daily engineering tasks within a classified and controlled laboratory environment.
• Travel up to 10% as required for mission support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Proven experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Active and existing Secret U.S. government security clearance required on day one.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the full systems development process, including requirements capture, design, integration, and transition to production.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as DOORS or CAMEO.
• Experience with software languages including Rust and Python.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with program stakeholders.
